Here's a quick multiple-choice question: Louisville is the kind of place where:
a) They show silent movies in the summer.
b) Jazz singer Hazel Miller sings downtown.
c) Some kids still walk to school.
d) The town just added a $500,000 skate park.

The answer is all of the above and more, and on Monday that was good enough to get Louisville a spot on Money magazine and CNN's annual list of the 10 best places to live in America.
